The Sri Lanka Chapter of ISACA has been in existence since 1996, has over 200 members in Sri Lanka. In view of its commitment towards its members, the chapter is the recipient of the K Wayne Snipes Award for the Best Medium Sized Chapter in Asia for 2016, 2013 and 2009 as well as the honorable mention for the year 2015.

ISACA (previously the Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is a worldwide association of IS security and governance professionals. The association currently focuses on assurance, security, and governance and provides globally recognized certification in assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor), security (Certified Information Security Manager), and governance (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT).

The membership of the ISACA reflects a multiplicity of backgrounds and skills that make the information systems governance field challenging and dynamic.

• Sri Lanka Chapter aims to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conducts regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession throughout the area.
